Fear changes camp
As of Monday, the start of the second semester in secondary school, the teachers went on strike. The president of the independent teachers’ union, Dušan Kokot, assures that there is “Not a city of Serbia that remains outside the movement”. He explains that teachers are mobilizing both in solidarity with students and for their own claims, demanding better working conditions. Dušan Kokot sweeps away from the hand the salary increases proposed by the government as “Full gifts”ensuring that teachers were fighting “For the general interest”.
