The story of Maëva and Martin, both aged 20, took a tragic turn this Thursday, January 23, 2025. Worried about this unusual absence, Maëva’s mother, with the support of other relatives, quickly alerted the gendarmerie. The police then deployed significant research resources, aided by calls for witnesses broadcast on social networks. It was finally at a place called La Truite, in Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains, that the car of the two young people was found in a parking lot. Disturbing fact: the vehicle was locked and still contained Maëva’s handbag.
