It’s a night this man won’t soon forget. Around 4:30 a.m., overwhelmed by events, a distraught resident of Chadrac called Police Rescue to report that his wife, drunk, hit him, bit him, then fled by car. A few hundred meters further, this surreal escapade ends when she loses control of her Renault Clio and ends up stuck in a median after tearing down a barrier.
From argument to road chaos
Arriving on site, the police think that the story ends there, but no, the fugitive passes them at full speed before crashing again. Once she staggered out of her Clio, she was arrested. The breathalyzer revealed a stratospheric blood alcohol level of 2.8 g/l.
Custody and judgment to come
After a night in a sobering up cell, the thirty-year-old confesses everything, domestic violence, drunken driving and property damage. Her license is suspended for eight months, and she will be tried in court in March. Her husband, who filed a complaint, will undoubtedly need time to digest this eventful evening… and some bandages for the bites.
