Biathlon: Gold medal for Valentina Dimitrova

With a time of 41 min 12 s Valentina Dimitrova won a gold medal at the European Junior Biathlon Championship. In the individual race over 12.5 km in Altenberg (Germany) the Bulgarian won, although she missed a target in each of her first two shots, but she was flawless in the last two shots. She crossed the finish line 3.7 seconds ahead of Finnish Eveliina Hakala and 55 seconds less than Polish Amelia Liszka.
