Gilbert Burlot, mayor, presented his wishes to the population on Friday. 2024 was an intense year for the municipality, with by-elections in October which greatly renewed the council. Six new councilors, out of eleven elected, have arrived.
In recent weeks, the Jagu house project, bequeathed to the municipality, and for which the rehabilitation into two new housing units had been planned, has been postponed. A reflection will be initiated.
Over the past year, work has nevertheless been undertaken: repair of the church roof, installation of gutters, renovation of the choir and installation of the slab at the bowling alley.
Seven births were also recorded, for five deaths. The seven invited babies were unfortunately not present at the wish ceremony to receive their camellias. Also, in the area of town planning, eight building permits were issued in 2024, seven preliminary declarations of work and twenty town planning certificates.
-For 2025, the resumption of the Jagu house project will therefore be central. Just like the progress of the wind project. Information to the population will also be made during a call at the town hall on Wednesday February 5. Finally, a discussion will be carried out around the bar-restaurant project, now abandoned in the heart of the town, which was purchased by the municipality in 2024.
