The group Samsung is starting the year strong with a first Galaxy Unpacked event this January which allows it to formalize its new series of smartphones Galaxy S25.
There are always three models: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ et Galaxy S25 Ultra for which the design remains similar to what the manufacturer has been offering for several generations now.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the new leader and its style with its rectangular format with softened corners, its set of photo sensors extending directly from the hull and its S Pen stylus will not really surprise you by preferring to keep a design that works.

The smartphone will not lack advantages with a Dynamic AMOLED display 6.9 inches QHD+ with 120 Hz adaptive screen refresh, all protected by Corning Armor 2 protective glass with anti-reflective treatment.
The screen will still be able to operate using a stylet S Pen which still loses its Bluetooth functions in this new version.
The display features a centered punch-hole for the 12-megapixel selfie sensor and a fingerprint reader housed under the screen. The titanium chassis offers a standard thickness of 8.2mm and results in a smartphone weighing a respectable 229 grams.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra logically embeds a mobile processor Snapdragon 8 Elite which has the particularity of being present this year on the entire Galaxy S25 range, the Exynos 2500 processors designed in-house not being available until later in the year, undoubtedly for the brand’s next folding smartphones.
Qualcomm’s premium chip will provide all the power needed to run the most demanding applications and power the most advanced wireless connectivity (WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4) while offering extensive 5G compatibility.
There you will find vapor chamber cooling to keep the processor cool and enough to support ray tracing and advanced gaming functions for long gaming sessions.
Galaxy S25 Ultra: similar design, plus AI
Its NPU (Neural Processing Unit) will also be useful for the many AI functionalities integrated within Galaxy AI. On board, AI Gemini from Google will replace Bixby and can be called up at the press of a button to answer all queries.
Samsung introduces specific functions such as Now Bar which plays on the same register as the Dynamic Island of the iPhone and the Now Brief seeking to provide information relevant to the user.
-On the memory side, the Galaxy S25 offers 12 Go to RAM and storage capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB.
The overlay One UI 7 installed on Android 15 and launched with the Galaxy S25 smartphones continues to highlight the possibilities of generative artificial intelligence with the ability to interpret text as well as images and videos.

These prices can be reduced by several hundred euros thanks to Samsung’s trade-in offers for an old smartphone while the 512 GB version is offered at the same price as the 256 GB version on the occasion of the launch.
