The striker, recruited last summer for a total of 30 million euros, appears to be on his way to a transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt. OM management, under the leadership of sporting director Medhi Benatia, is seeking to recruit a new striker in order to fill the void left by Wahi’s departure to the Bundesliga. According to sports consultant Daniel Riolo, the main objective of their search is none other than Santiago Gimenez. “The hottest lead to replace Wahi is very promising; I’m not sure they’ll be able to complete the deal, but it’s Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord.
