The Villains traveled to the Stade Louis II, and the Dea hosted Sturm Graz for the first two matches of the evening counting the 7th and penultimate day of the Champions League.
Atalanta – Sturm Graz
With Charles De Ketelaere at kick-off, Atalanta made short work of the Austrians. Retegui (12th) quickly put the Italians in control, Pašalić (58th) doubled the lead on the hour mark, shortly before the Red Devil tripled the lead (63rd). In stoppage time, Lookman then Brescianini fixed the final score at 5-0.
Atalanta thus ends five matches (all competitions combined) without a victory and will travel to Barcelona to punctuate its campaign. The Sturm will host RB Leipzig.
-Monaco – Aston Villa
Holder, Youri Tielemans signed his return to his old stadium while Amadou Onana was not traveling to the principality due to injury.
A goal from Wilfried Singo in the eighth minute of play allowed ASM to win a valuable victory which also allowed them to get back on track after four matches without the slightest victory (all competitions combined). Monaco will punctuate the group stage at Inter while Aston Villa will host Celtic.
