A fugitive wanted for the shooting murder of a 29-year-old man in mid-October in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) was arrested and imprisoned in Spain, pending his handover to the French authorities, we learned on Tuesday from judicial sources.
This suspect, the subject of an arrest warrant issued as part of an investigation into organized gang murder, was arrested a few days ago near Barcelona and imprisoned after being presented to a Spanish judge.
A fight between several people
According to the Spanish daily El Pais, the police discovered a Kalashnikov, rifles, a revolver and ammunition in the home he occupied in Cabrils, a town of 7,500 inhabitants located on the Catalan coast.
