The regional director of trade in Kef, Ridha Bouraoui, indicated Monday that the region’s supply situation with liquefied gas cylinders is heading towards a breakthrough after the improvement of climatic conditions and the supply of significant quantities to the region. of these bottles, thanks to continuous daily shipments.
He explained that the region is supplied daily with quantities varying between 4,200 and 5,800 canisters, which are considered significant quantities and reflect the growing demand for liquefied gas due to the cold snap that peaked at the end of last week.
He stressed that efforts are underway to provide significant quantities of liquefied gas cylinders in the areas most exposed to the cold, particularly mountainous and forest areas, while ensuring equitable distribution, noting the excellent work accomplished by all parties at central, regional and local levels, with the aim of overcoming supply difficulties once and for all.
-He emphasized the desire to prevent violations, as economic control agents and the National Guard monitor the procurement process, noting that a judicial report was issued against a seller in one of the region’s cities after deliberately increased the prices of domestic gas bottles.
