Today marks the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th president.

the inaugural speech at the Capitol, as is political tradition

precedent”, declared Donald Trump yesterday. “A deluge of decrees” is
expected for this first day. Immigration is the first

American history,” he assured during his campaign. Another measure
expected: pardons for those convicted
for storming the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
On the economic level, Donald Trump should restart his
protectionist policy. He also promised to tackle the
climate policy of his Democratic predecessor. Its slogan “Drill,
baby, drill!”, promoting the extraction of fossil fuels,
was repeated over and over again during his campaign rallies.
