Donald Trump arrived at the Capitol

Donald Trump entered the Washington Capitol on Monday morning for the inauguration ceremony, during which the Republican will take the oath of office and become the 47th president of the United States.

He will swear to protect the Constitution under the dome of the building which houses the US Congress, the same place where on January 6, 2021, his supporters tried to prevent the certification of the victory of his Democratic rival, Joe Biden.
