The €1.5 million supercar of Formula 1 driver and Monaco resident Lando Norris was involved in an accident on Avenue d’Agerbol, although he was not at the wheel.
At the beginning of January, Lando Norris’ Ferrari F40 was damaged on Avenue d’Agerbol, heading towards the Maybourne Riviera hotel from Monaco. An incident which could have turned into a tragedy, but which fortunately did not cause any injuries or affect other vehicles. The McLaren driver, on vacation in Dubai for the New Year, was not behind the wheel at the time of the incident.

Purchased last year for almost 1.5 million euros, the F40 lost control coming out of a tight bend near Monaco. A video originally shared on TikTok by Thanosofmonaco shows the vehicle spinning before hitting a guardrail. Although the incident was impressive for a straight stretch of road, the damage seemed relatively limited, mainly concentrated at the rear of the vehicle.
-With its 471 horsepower powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine, the F40 is a car that is as impressive as it is demanding to drive. The absence of any electronic assistance, such as stability control, makes it tricky to drive, especially for those who are not used to its particularities, such as the response time of the turbos.
Despite the violence of the impact, the Ferrari F40 should easily be repairable. The model is distinguished by custom-made Enkei rims, inspired by the ultra-rare F40 LM version, a detail which gives even more prestige to this already legendary car. This is not the first time that an F40 has suffered an incident in Monaco: five years ago, another example was completely destroyed in a fire.
