Horizons, the party of Édouard Philippe, has appointed Hervé DUMAINE to lead the municipal committee of Chalon-sur-Saône.
Press release
The Municipal Committee will ensure, at the local level, the life of the party and is intended to be a structure for a broad gathering of citizens and elected officials who wish to participate in the reflections and debates which will build the France of tomorrow.
Hervé Dumaine – “We come together within a political party because we deeply believe in commitment and political action as the foundations of democracy. We believe that politics can change the lives of the French, of the people of Chalon, when it offers a lucid assessment of the issues and clear lines of action. Attached to the democratic debate, we are building a new political offer based on openness and the refusal of sectarianism. »
Edouard Philippe – “Concerned above all about the general interest, we believe in overcoming artificial divisions and in bringing together all good will in the service of the country, while respecting differences and sensitivities. We will work with all those who devote their strengths and ideas to imagining a new horizon for France. »
Horizons has chosen to favor anchoring at the municipal level, so that its committees are organized as close as possible to the daily lives of the French.
-The municipal committee will be in charge of providing reflections and actions in view of the next municipal, regional and legislative elections to come.
The two departmental delegates for Saône et Loire, Claude CANNET, 2nd vice-president of the department and Élisabeth ROBLOT, 10th vice-president of the department will accompany the municipal committee in the actions.
We invite all those who wish to mobilize and get involved in a collective, who wish to take part in long-term reflection and who believe in democratic debate as well as public action, to join the Committee!
