VIDEO – In 2013, the reality star did not understand the humor of the Belgian actor who appeared in “Le Supplement” on Canal+.

Saturday January 18, Stéphane De Groodt was a guest in “What a time!” as part of the promotion of The Trutha comedy by Florian Zeller programmed at the Édouard VII theater. For his first appearance on the talk show, Léa Salamé could not help but return to a cult sequence concerning him.

13 years ago, the Belgian actor and humorist appeared in “Le Supplement” on Canal+. Every Sunday, he wrote a column entitled “Back to the Future” where he recounted his meeting with famous people, mixing in puns. On June 2, 2013, Maïtena Biraben received the reality TV star of the time, Nabilla . Listening to Stéphane De Groodt, the young woman was dubious, to say the least. “Can I have an earpiece to translate because I don’t understand anything?”she asked, not hesitating to correct the comedian on his pronunciation. “It’s crazy, but what’s happening is too serious. This guy is weird”she declared in particular, causing laughter among those present on the set.

“It was quite a special moment because while doing it, I didn’t realize what was happening, I was on my text. I improvised a little because she offered me things on a silver platter and there was a kind of alchemy between what she told me and what came to me at that moment. The producer at the time, Laurent Bon, not to mention him, told me: “We just had a TV moment”I didn’t understand what he said to meremembered the actor. And for ten years, people have talked to me about it every week. But I am delighted because it allowed me to be exposed and to do my job as an actor differently today”he assured.

Nabilla has probably become aware of the passage by Stéphane De Groodt in “Quelle époque!” since she answered him. “What an incredible moment. I hope that one day you will finally explain to me”she wrote on X.
