AMD has already started shipping its Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT to several retailers. Some have confirmed these deliveries by publishing photos revealing boxes stamped Radeon RX 9070. However, the official launch of the cards is still awaited. What is happening?
According to Pokerclock, this delay could be attributed to a strategic error in setting the initial prices, which were considered too high. It appears that AMD asked retailers to pay more than what was ultimately set as the introductory price. Disgruntled resellers are now reportedly demanding that AMD compensate for this gap through marketing funds or refund offers.
