Benidorm: Sick, Léo Bisiaux is left to rest – News

Léo Bisiaux will not participate this Sunday in the fifth round of the Cyclo-cross Hopes World Cup. The French U23 Champion, who participated this week in the pre-season training course of the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale team, has been unwell since Friday.

“He caught a little virus. We are two weeks away from the World Cup. We didn’t want to take any risks, there was no point in him startingindicated to DirectVelo François Trarieux, the national coach. His four World Cup results are validated so he is sure to start in the first two rows in Liévin. It is therefore better that he recovers”. Before Benidorm, he occupies 4th place in the general classification of the regularity challenge.

Léo Bisiaux will be training with the French team at Alfàs del Pi until Friday, near Benidorm. The French Juniors and Espoirs will then head to Hoogerheide (Netherlands) to compete next Sunday in the final round of the World Cup.
