The loan transfer of Paris SG striker Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus is currently on hold due to new FIFA regulations regarding player loans.
The French striker, who has lost the confidence of Parisian coach Luis Enrique, arrived in Turin on Wednesday, where Juventus coach Thiago Motta hopes to start him this Saturday against AC Milan (5:00 p.m. GMT).
“I am delighted with the arrival of Kolo Muani; he is a very interesting player. We are still waiting for some administrative formalities to finalize the transfer,” Motta said on Friday.
However, no official confirmation of the transfer has been announced since, and the loan risks being jeopardized due to the ‘formalities’ mentioned by Motta.

RC Lens vs PSG: Official Lineup Announced
PSG must comply with a rule put in place by FIFA aimed at “promoting the development of young players, improving competitive balance and preventing the excessive accumulation of players under contract”. Since 2022, the maximum number of players that can be loaned by a club was set at eight, then reduced to seven the following year, and to six since last July.
-This season, PSG has already loaned six players: Cher Ndour (Besiktas), Juan Bernat (Villarreal), Nordi Mukiele (Bayer Leverkusen), Carlos Soler (West Ham), Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig), and Renato Sanches (Benfica) .
Logically, before being able to loan Kolo Muani to Juventus, PSG must permanently sell one of these six players.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG made a mistake “by not realizing that it had reached the limit”, an assertion denied by the Parisian club which assures that it is working on several transactions in this January market.
