Although he has not yet been able to realize his dream of playing in the NBA, Nadir Hifi nevertheless places himself as a great connoisseur of the league and its history. For Cliquehe therefore agreed to respond to the all-time dilemma between LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
By participating last summer in the Summer League with the Timberwolves, he hoped to catch the eye of the scouts NBA and get a contract there. Unfortunately for him, despite some notable releases, Nadir Hifi did not get what he came for in the United States. Since then, he has tried to shine in the Paris Basket jersey, while continuing to assiduously follow the North American league.
Nadir Hifi chooses its GOAT between Jordan and LeBron
Recently on the show CliqueHifi was invited to talk about the NBA, and not in just any way. Indeed, he had to raise an issue that was as heated as it was age-old, namely that of the GOAT of the league:
Nadir Hifi: Are we talking about LeBron James and Michael Jordan? I often talk about it with my teammates, but it’s a never-ending debate actually.
Aware that his opinion on the subject was certainly not going to move this discussion forward, the young French fullback therefore did not want to make anyone jealous… before ending up revealing his inclination:
Nadir Hifi: I think there are two GOATs, but I would still put LeBron above Michael Jordan.

Relaunched by Mouloud Achour, Hifi then had to target the qualities specific to the King that its historical rival does not possess. However, it is rather the opposite mission that he accomplished:
Nadir Hifi: It’s complicated… They really do the same thing. The only thing we can criticize about LeBron is that he doesn’t have as many titles as Michael Jordan.
But in terms of qualities and leadership, frankly, it’s really too complicated. Afterwards, I saw LeBron James play more than Michael Jordan. That’s why I choose it. The elders will say Michael Jordan, of course.
A contemporary of LBJ, the Parisian will-o-the-wisp therefore lines up behind this argument to justify his opinion. This, while not forgetting to highlight the differences observed in the current NBA compared to that of Jordan:
Nadir Hifi: It really plays differently. Now it’s very much based on individuality. We’re going to give the ball to a star player, he’s going to do magic, score 35 or 40 points and you won’t be able to do anything. Now the offense is much stronger than the defense. Before, you could no longer control the defending players and stop them. Today it has become too complicated.
Born in July 2002, Nadir Hifi was then rocked by the exploits of LeBron James on the NBA floors. Enough to justify his choice in favor of the King in the GOAT debate, even if it takes nothing away from the qualities and illustrious CV of Michael Jordan.
