The Pontorson tourist office suffered a burglary in mid-January 2024, causing extensive damage.
The 2025 season is on the horizon, the establishment offers new facilities and a new manager, Pauline Lecointre, replacing Marine Guillet, who after nine years of presence, is in charge of the website for the intercommunal office.
Pauline Lecointre comes from the Avranches office, this new position of manager in the sector poses no problem for her. “This delights me because I already came to Pontorson in 2016 to do an internship. Native from the South Channel, I am in a conquered country in this sector particularly rich in tourist and event offerings », confides the young woman.
-Among the major events planned for 2025, the Courir en Baie half-marathon on May 10, the medieval festival Les Pontorsonnades on June 28 and 29 and the French pétanque championship on June 21 and 22.
Also on the office’s agenda is the creation of an email every Thursday listing all the activities in the living area over ten days. Anyone wishing to receive it can go to the office, Place de la Mairie, to register.
