Joshua Roya promising young prospect for the Montreal Canadiens, is currently playing with the Laval Rocket, working tirelessly to find his way to a permanent position with the big club.
He plays good hockey and is currently the team’s leading scorer with 27 points in 32 games.
Tonight, while the Rocket visited the Utica Comets, the Devils’ farm club, Roy lost his balance behind the opposing goal while completing an offensive sequence and collapsed against the boards.
His shoulder took all the shock and he left the meeting afterwards.
The Rocket has just lost the services of Joshua Roy who fell heavily at the bottom of the ramp near the opposing net. His left shoulder took all the shock. Hoping it’s not too serious. The Rocket confirms that he will not return to the match.

Here is the sequence in question:
-Not very encouraging images, but we sincerely hope that he comes out of this without anything too serious.
Pascal Vincent was not able to provide details regarding the state of health of Joshua Roy who will be re-evaluated upon his return to Laval tomorrow. We can rule out the idea of seeing him in uniform tomorrow. It looked pretty serious on my left shoulder at first glance.
