Chicago Bulls point guard Zach LaVine playfully expressed interest in trading in his basketball jersey for a baseball uniform, hinting he might aspire to take the place of Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout . Before the Bulls lost to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 110-94, LaVine was asked about his potential career in another sport, and he responded with confident confidence.
“Professional baseball player. Not even close. Center fielder for the Angels, sorry Mike. You can go left now, and he needs DH anyway, right? » joked LaVine.
Trout, not one to back down, challenged LaVine on social media, assuring him that his spot wouldn’t be easy to obtain. “I’m not going to make it easy for you @ZachLaVine….come to spring training camp and we’ll see what you have in store,” Trout replied on Twitter.
