This Friday, National Telecom SA (Natcom) officially presented the prizes to the three new millionaires in the “Ou Se Milyonè” draw. This initiative, launched in September 2024, aims to encourage the use of Natcash, the company’s mobile financial service.
Port-au-Prince, January 17, 2025 – During a ceremony organized at Natcom headquarters, Marleine Dessalines, Pierre Saint Jean and David Nérébon were designated as the latest beneficiaries of this program. Each received a check for one million gourdes. However, David Nérébon, residing in Les Cayes, was unable to be present due to persistent insecurity on certain roads controlled by armed gangs.
Ms. Dessalines, the first woman to become a millionaire thanks to this campaign, expressed her disbelief upon receiving the news. “I couldn’t believe this could happen to me,” she said, moved. For his part, Mr. Pierre Saint Jean shared a similar sentiment, describing this experience as a “dream come true”.
Since its launch, the “Ou Se Milyonè” promotion has already crowned several winners, including César Kendy, Lucien Jean Eddy and Jerry Jean Baptiste, originally from Cap-Haïtien, Pétion-Ville and Boucan Carré respectively. Natcom’s Public Relations Manager, Mr. Josué Pierre Paul, highlighted the impact of this initiative, which helps promote the use of digital financial services across the country.
-The ceremony also allowed Natcom to reaffirm its commitment to the well-being of the Haitian population. Through this program, the company intends not only to reward its users, but also to make them aware of the advantages of digital solutions to promote financial inclusion.
With “Ou Se Milyonè”, Natcom continues to make an impact while offering unique opportunities to its subscribers.
