Lille overthrows Nice and climbs onto the podium

Lille hosted Nice for the 18th day of the Ligue 1 championship. An ambitious duel with two teams in good form, Lille is undefeated in 13 matches in Ligue 1 and Nice has only lost one of its last eight outings. If the Aiglons start on the ground and open the scoring thanks to Sofiane Diop, the Mastiffs insist and end up forcing the Niçois to fold thanks to achievements from Diakité and Haraldsson.
