(Washington) The rocket Starship of SpaceX was suspended from flying on Friday by the American aviation regulator (FAA), which asked Elon Musk’s company to conduct an investigation after the explosion Thursday during a test flight of the second stage of his rocket.

“The FAA is working with SpaceX and relevant authorities to confirm damage to property in the Turks and Caicos Islands”, added the American agency which had reported the day before having diverted planes around a “space vehicle debris fall zone”.
