During a test flight conducted Thursday, the second stage of the Starship megarocket exploded in flight.
-SpaceX’s Starship rocket was suspended from flight on Friday by the US aviation regulator (FAA), which asked Elon Musk’s company to conduct an investigation after the explosion on Thursday during a test flight of the second stage of its rocket.
“The FAA is working with SpaceX and relevant authorities to confirm damage to property in the Turks and Caicos Islands”in the Caribbean, added the American agency which had reported the day before having diverted planes around a “space vehicle debris falling zone”.
