The 32-year-old Swede has decided to continue his career with the Edmonton Oilers, the finalists of the last Stanley Cup, according to several media reports.

Last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Klingberg was limited to five points in 14 games. He underwent hip surgery in 2023 and has reportedly worked hard since to regain his good form.
The lanky 6’2″, 185 lb. right-hander was once a feared offensive defenseman throughout the NHL. He notably amassed 67 points with the Stars in 2017-2018.
