Nancy, the city with golden gates

Famous throughout the world for its architectural ensemble listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nancy therefore owes a lot to Place Stanislas, Place de la Carrière and Place d’Alliance which form a unique 18th century ensemble. A major center of Art Nouveau, Nancy also saw the birth at the end of the 19th century of an artistic movement initiated by the School of Nancy which would spread throughout Europe for several years.
