The successor to the third best-selling console in history has finally been made official. The giant Nintendo presented its new machine this Thursday, January 16, 2025, putting an end to months of speculation. This Nintendo Switch 2 will have the difficult task of taking over from the Japanese manufacturer’s current console and its more than 146 million copies sold. The price, release date as well as the exclusive games that will accompany the console will be communicated later. These elements will also be decisive in convincing consumers to acquire a new console – it is not enough to offer new features to justify such a purchase. The company will dedicate an in-depth communication on this machine on April 2, 2025.
