The Tour Down Under Femmes 2025 will take place from January 17 to 19 and will bring together an exceptional field of runners. Among the favorites, we find Justine Ghekiere (AG Insurance-Soudal), winner of the 2024 Tour de France polka dot jersey, and Neve Bradbury (Canyon//SRAM), young Australian climber who shone in 2024. Chloé DygertOlympic gold medalist, will also be one to watch for her time trial and sprint abilities. On the team side, Lidl-Trek align Niamh Fisher-Blacka formidable climber, while FDJ-Suez put on Elise Chabbey et Ally Wollastonversatile and dangerous on all terrains. The demanding course includes three stages with key climbs such as the legendary Willunga Hillwhich will be climbed twice during the second stage. The first step connects Brighton to Snapper Point (101.9 km), followed by a stage between Unley et Willunga Hill (115 km), and ends with a hilly circuit around Stirling (105,9 km).
In men, the Tour Down Under 2025 will take place from January 21 to 26 and will bring together a prestigious field. The outgoing winner, Stevie Williams (Israel – Premier Tech), will be present to defend his title, accompanied by Michael Woods. Luke Plapp (Team Jayco AlUla), three-time Australian champion, and Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates XRG), winner in 2023, will be among the favorites. Legendary figures like Geraint Thomas (INEOS Grenadiers) et Dylan Van Baarle (Visma Lease a Bike) will also bring their experience. The route, made up of six stages, begins with a hilly stage between Prospect et Gumeracha (150.7 km), followed by a loop around Tanunda (128.8 km). Stages 3 and 4 will take riders from Norwood to Uraidla (147.5 km) and Glenelg to Victor Harbor (157.2 km). The queen stage, McLaren Vale to Willunga Hill (145.7 km), promises spectacular clashes, while the last stage will conclude with a flat circuit in the center ofAdelaide (90 km).
