At 40 years old, LeBron James continues to make NBA history. Considered one of the greatest players of all time, the Los Angeles Lakers winger wrote his legend during a rich career that is still ongoing.
And before even waiting for his retirement, a question may arise: what is his greatest accomplishment in the NBA? For his part, during the podcast The New Heights, the King decided: playing with his son, Bronny.
“Obviously, the titles are a separate thing. But to be able to be and play in this league at the same time as Bronny, that’s one of my greatest accomplishments. Probably the number 1 possible.
Working with your own son, I’ve heard a lot of people, not just in sports but in business, say it’s the best thing you can have. Seeing him train every day, trying to achieve his goals, it allows me to make up for the minutes, hours and years that I didn’t have with him.
Because I played a lot, I was always on the road and I took care of myself a lot. So, getting some time back right now is really special,” LBJ said.
-For a father, it is necessarily an exceptional and unique experience. But for the athlete? Personally, I don’t consider this to be his greatest accomplishment. However, we could still link it to its absolutely exceptional longevity. A symbol of LeBron James’ extraordinary ability to maintain a high level for 22 seasons!
But the debate remains open with other achievements:
– Quadruple NBA champion, with three different franchises, including a title won by coming back from 1-3;
– Best scorer in NBA history;
– His individual distinctions (quadruple MVP, quadruple Finals MVP, 20 times All-Star, RoY 2004, etc…).
