The Garmin Beta Version 13.18 update is now available for the Fenix ​​8 AMOLED, Fenix ​​8 Solar, Enduro 3, and Fenix ​​E smartwatches. It arrives a little over a week after the last beta update. It arrives a little over a week after the last beta update, version 13.14.

This is a larger release, with 23 changes listed in the release notes. These include adding a character pop-up when using the watch’s QWERTY keyboard. A new proximity alert option is now available for GPS activities. Font scaling is also supported on the Workout Structure card, and segments have been added to the Workout menu. Additionally, the map Pan/Zoom bar can now be made more transparent.

Garmin says it has updated the Recent Sleep Scores page and made improvements to RAM file saving. Fixes have also been made for accidentally disabling alarms, not being able to delete custom activity profiles, and touch input issues in the maps app. You can check out the full changelog below. The Garmin team specifies that this is a gradual deployment; the software has currently reached at least 25% of eligible smartwatch users over-the-air (OTA). It is not yet known when a stable version of update 13.18 will be available to all users of the Fenix ​​8 (47mm AMOLED, $999.99 at Amazon) and related smartwatches.
