What is your feeling after this parity score against Suresnes?
A lot of frustration from everyone I think, from the whole team, given today’s performance, I think we can only blame ourselves. We still had a great game, we see that as soon as we carry the ball, hold it and play at home, it was much easier with the wind in the 2nd half. I think we have match points that we are not taking advantage of, we are showing too much indiscipline which, in my opinion, is costing us the match. As a result, we lose it ourselves and at the end of the meeting, it’s very, very frustrating.
A stressful end to the match because at one point you see yourself winning with this penalty from Vincent Debladis which passes just to the right. Then you set the house on fire over the latest actions?
Exactly, we all believe it but we can’t blame him, he had a great match. The coin falls on the wrong side but, once again, there are a lot of things to sort out, we tried until the end to hold on and go to their house, it was a bit crazy but we see that At the end, it is better to take the 2 points at home rather than lose the match. At the end of the day, these are still two points taken and not lost.
Next weekend, it will be a real duel for survival against Bourgoin, a team which, like you, is playing for its survival. There, will we have to put everything?
Absolutely. I think we’re going to go there with weapons, we’re going to try to get everything, even if it’s just one point, it will count at the end of the season. We know that it’s complicated for them at the moment as well, they lost at home and I think they will want to make up for it against us at home so there will be a big match to play there.
Today you were manhandled on the sidelines. How do you analyze that?
There are a lot of things to sort out, especially in this sector. There are a lot of small details to sort out, we don’t have a lot of time but we shouldn’t make excuses about that. We need to work harder, come to training a little earlier, 10/15 minutes, and be much more efficient in this area.
A little word to all the Langon supporters who are watching us and who couldn’t be there today?
Above all, we must not give up. We are not going to let you go until the end of the season, we will be on the field to empty ourselves for you, we will be there every weekend and until the end of the season, until last match in Narbonne. We will always be here.
