Of the 20 stocks included in the calculation of the index, 17 finished higher. Nine of them even grew by more than 2%.
Real estate is popular
The largest daily gains among index stocks were recorded for real estate stocks. Building increased by 3.16% to reach 57.10 euros. The fund recorded the completion of 31 projects in 2024, representing an investment of 293 million euros. Cofinimmo increased by 3.09% to 53.40 euros. And WDP rebounded by 2.89% to 53.40 euros. The logistics real estate investor opens an office in Paris to manage its French portfolio. It is managed by François Le Levier, who comes from the real estate broker CBRE France.
The high voltage network operator Elia nestled between the two with an advance of 3.10% at a closing price of 63.20 euros.
Among the stocks in the index, the heavyweight ArgenX was the main loser. The biotechnology company fell 1.74% to 642.20 euros.

Biotalys climbed 9.43% to reach 3.48 euros. The Dutch Council for the Authorization of Plant Protection Products and Biocides gives a positive opinion for the use of the active ingredient of the organic product Evoca for the treatment of vines against powdery mildew in the European Union. The Netherlands Institute for Public Health and the Environment must now continue the investigation. In the meantime, the decision of the American regulator remains pending.
Ontex gained 1.49% to 8.16 euros. French company DNCA Finance declared a 3.03% stake in the diaper maker.
In the second row, Elm Invest lost 6.19% at a closing price of 5.30 euros.
