Ivan Demidov continues to collect honors in the KHL.

The Montreal Canadian prospect has just obtained his ticket to the circuit’s all-star game, replacing his ex-teammate Tony DeAngelo who had to leave the Saint Petersburg SKA for personal reasons.

Demidov, who is the top scorer among skaters under the age of 20 in the KHL, will be the youngest skater to participate in this classic which will be held the weekend of February 8 and 9.

So far this season, the fifth overall pick in the last National Hockey League (NHL) auction has scored 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points in 43 games. If he keeps up the pace, he should break the record for most points in a season for a player under 20 in KHL history. Kirill Kaprizov holds the mark with 42 in 49 games.

He will not be the only CH prospect present at the event as defender Bogdan Konyushkov from Torpedo Nizhni Novgorod also obtained his place on the all-star roster.
