Final result: USC 99, Iowa 89
By Tyler Tachman
The Trojans posted an incredible performance by conceding 65% shooting success, including 67% from distance. This meeting is reminiscent of the one against Wisconsin, even if the Hawkeyes did not suffer such a crushing defeat against USC.
Iowa showed great aggression in attack with 53% shooting success and 46% from distance. However, a defense like that of the Hawkeyes makes winning difficult.
Indeed, Iowa has now conceded an average of 107.5 points per game in its last two away meetings.

Mi-temps : USC 48, Iowa 32
By Tyler Tachman
A catastrophic first half defensively for Iowa. USC shot 61% while hitting 63% from behind the three-point line. Wesley Yates III made 4 of his 5 three-pointers.
Iowa has shot a respectable 46 percent while shooting 40 percent from three, but that doesn’t matter if the opponent gets too comfortable on offense.

This is reminiscent of the first half against Wisconsin, which inflicted a heavy defeat on Iowa. If the trend continues, Iowa could be in trouble once again on the road.
