Zverev wins against Martinez at the Australian Open

Alexander Zverev faced Pedro Martinez in the second round of the Australian Open. The German mastered his subject and won 6-1, 6-4, 6-1 in 1h56 of play.

Conceding only six games, Zverev had the fewest Grand Slam matches he lost, the last being a victory against Adrian Mannarino in 2021 where he lost 7.

He will face Jacob Fearnley in the next round, who beat Arthur Cazaux at the same time.
