On the occasion of his wishes on Saturday, the mayor of Saint-Maurice-aux-Riches-Hommes, Francis Fagegaltier, paid tribute to Michel Bertrand. From now on, the multipurpose room will bear his name. He recalled the personality of the deceased and the essential role he played in the musical entertainment of local association events.
The mayor also took stock of the work carried out during the previous year, including the burying of bare wire lines and the installation of fiber, as well as the restoration work on the roofs of the parish church and the chapel of Villeneuve-aux-Riches-Hommes.
Francis Fagegaltier also specified that various works will be undertaken this year regarding the preservation of runoff water, through the implementation of specific works including the digging of village ponds and the rehabilitation of certain pipes.
Likewise, the widening of the intersection of Rue de la Forêt de Lancy and Rue des Vieilles vignes should be undertaken this year.
