Troy Terry returns to action on Tuesday when the Anaheim Ducks take on the Washington Capitals (7 p.m. ET; Victory+, MNMT, KCOP-13).

Terry missed his team’s last four games due to the birth of his son Theo on January 7. Theo and the Ducks hockey player’s wife, Dani, are still in the hospital as a precaution. However, the newborn is doing better, says Terry.

“The last few days have been a roller coaster, but we are so happy that Theo was born,” he said. He needed a little help the first few days. The hospital staff took good care of him. The Ducks organization has been there to support my wife and me. Theo is doing much better. For my part, I’m happy to see the guys again. »

Even though his family was his priority during the last week, Terry followed the activities of his team from home or from the hospital.

“These guys are my closest friends,” he said. Coming back among them brings a balm to my departure from home. I can’t wait to get back to the game tonight. »
