“Lack of time to connect effectively with French Canadians”: Christy Clark gives up on launching the race for leadership of the PLC

Former Prime Minister of British Columbia Christy Clark has finally given up on running for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada (PLC).

A member of his campaign confirmed to National Postlast week, that she would make her candidacy official when the rules of the race are established.

However, Ms. Clark indicated on Tuesday that she is backtracking, citing lack of time “to set up a successful campaign and connect effectively with French Canadians in their language.”

More details to come.
