Match Hospitality Asia, the regional arm of the Switzerland-based agency, has been officially appointed to lead hospitality sales for the second race of the E1 all-electric powerboat racing series, which will take place during the season 2025 in Doha, Qatar.
Announced today, Match Hospitality will act as the exclusive commercial hospitality provider for the prestigious E1 Doha Grand Prix, scheduled for February 21-22 on the picturesque Pearl Island.
The business, part of the wider Byrom Group, is committed to delivering premier hospitality experiences from the Racers’ Lounge, located at the St Regis Marsa Arabia Hotel. Guests will also have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy a private charter experience, placing them closer to the thrilling action.
Excitement around the 2025 E1 season will begin in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on January 24, with the schedule extending to a grand finale event in Miami in November, as revealed last December. Currently, five of the seven races have been confirmed in notable locations: Jeddah, Doha, Monaco, Lake Como, and Miami.

Commenting on the partnership, Enrique Byrom said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by E1 to support such a unique and groundbreaking event as the Doha GP. The Racers’ Lounge offers our VIP guests unparalleled views, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the adrenaline of E1 racing while enjoying a tailor-made entertainment experience. »
The move towards the inaugural race of the season has already seen the announcement of Kuehne+Nagel as the official logistics provider for E1 earlier this week. Additionally, E1 recently declared that the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) will be its new presenting partner.
In terms of recent efforts, Match Hospitality Asia has also renewed its partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), extending their collaboration for the upcoming 2027 Asian Cup. Historically, Match Hospitality Group has held the commercial rights hospitality for FIFA events, including the recent 2022 Men’s World Cup in Qatar. However, the rights for the upcoming 2026 World Cup were awarded to On Location, a subsidiary of the Endeavor Group, in mid-2024.
