A suspicious smell: that’s all it takes to sow panic. This Tuesday, January 14, 2025, around 4 p.m., the ESAT (establishment and work support service) of Ateliers du Beffroi, in the Bois des Communes area, in Évreux (Eure), was evacuated.
More than 200 people evacuated
As a suspicion of a gas leak is still taken seriously, firefighters, police officers and GRDF agents went to the site.
The doubt was resolved and the intervention ended shortly before 5 p.m.
However, more than 200 people working in this ESAT were evacuated during the intervention.
