Montreal Canadiens forward Emil Heineman was involved as a pedestrian in a road accident in Salt Lake City. He will be absent for three to four weeks, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Swede suffered an upper body injury.

No further details have been revealed. The CH visits the Utah club in the evening at the Delta Center.

The day before, Alex Newhook missed the team’s practice due to flu symptoms. The CH could therefore carry out a recall in the coming hours and use seven defenders for today’s match against Utah.

More details will follow.
