kyiv claims missile strike on chemical plant
The Ukrainian army said on Tuesday it had struck with missiles overnight a chemical factory producing explosives for the Russian army in the Russian border region of Bryansk, in one of the biggest attacks in Russia since its invasion of Ukraine.
The attack hit the factory located in the town of Seltso, near Bryansk, capital of the eponymous region, the army said in a statement.
The Ukrainian army did not specify which missiles had been used but some Russian media mentioned the American-made ATACMS whose use by kyiv on Russian territory was recently authorized by the White House.
