Coca-Cola fans may have already noticed: the famous sweet drink is rare on Migros shelves. In certain subsidiaries, reports 20 Minutesthis item is no longer available.
Negotiations between the orange giant and the supplier would explain this situation. A Migros spokesperson explains to our colleagues that possible delivery delays “cannot be ruled out”, at national level. All variations of the drink, as well as bottles of Fanta and Monster, are affected.
The French-speaking daily recalls that this is not the first time that tensions have arisen between Swiss retailers and Coca-Cola, particularly following price increases.
In any case, this “in no way means” that there will no longer be Coke on the shelves, the Migros spokesperson would like to reassure. (guf)
