This Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Julien Courbet hosted a new episode of Call for Witnesses on M6. During this broadcast, the host returned to the disappearance of Théo Courcoux, who has disappeared since December 1, 2023. Aged 21, this young man leaves work at the end of the day but he will never return home.
If the investigation yielded nothing, the relatives of the deceased decided to go on Julien Courbet’s show to try to get a reaction from a viewer who knew more about Théo. A man will then call the switchboard. Keeping his anonymity, he will then make a revelation: “What I’m going to say won’t please the mother”he begins by indicating.
A witness makes a crucial revelation in the affair of Théo Courcoux
This person continues: “Mr Théo Courcoux, he trafficked in contraband cigarettes”,
he said live. According to this person, the young man frequented deal places. A thesis which has not yet been mentioned by the police.
A few minutes later, Théo Courcoux’s mother indicated that she had been aware of the cigarette trafficking into which her son had fallen. But what she didn’t know was that, according to this witness, Théo was filmed in a boat, by a video surveillance camera. “The gendarmerie searched the boat”he indicated.
A video surveillance camera would have filmed the young man “along Brivet”
The witness specifies that Théo Courcoux was seen walking “along the Brivet to go to a vacant lot which is a deal point. According to the video, they saw him walking with a sleeveless black down jacket but they never saw him come back.”
Thus, the various information given by this viewer will be able to be studied and will perhaps restart the investigations. To this day, Théo Courcoux has not been found and no trace of what could have happened that day has been discovered. Did the young man fall into an ambush linked to his cigarette trafficking? Or was he the victim of an accident? The Call for Witnesses program allowed Théo’s mother to discover new avenues to study.
