On Saturday January 25, the shopping center will offer free entertainment.
TRAN, the independent Asian catering brand present at the Toison d’Or since its opening in 1990, is celebrating the tradition at the start of the year. Next Saturday, January 25, the Chinese New Year, an ancient celebration, will take over the aisles of the Toison d’Or shopping center.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the customs of this emblematic event through various activities: spring roll making workshops, lion dances, wishing trees and traditional calligraphy workshops.
Completely free, this event highlights the Toison d’Or’s commitment to making culture accessible to all in a unique setting.
MANY ANCESTRAL EVENTS TO DISCOVER NEXT JANUARY 25
Present since the opening of the center in 1990, the Asian restaurant brand TRAN has established itself as one of the emblematic restaurants of the Toison d’Or. To celebrate the Chinese New Year, placed under the sign of the Snake, TRAN is joining forces with the Golden Fleece to offer a program of festive activities open to all visitors.
Above all, TRAN embodies strong family values and places transmission at the heart of its development. Recently, Julien and Jimmy, the two sons, took over the reins of the family business, founded by their parents. Following in their footsteps and drawing on their experience, Julien and Jimmy have chosen to renew the organization, in partnership with the Toison d’Or, of a festive and traditional event on January 25.

Did you know that?
Spring roll, or “chūn juǎn” in Chinese, is a dish traditionally eaten during Chinese New Year. It symbolizes prosperity and renewal, with its elongated shape reminiscent of gold bars used as currency in ancient times, bringing luck and wealth for the year to come. This light and fresh dish is often garnished with crunchy vegetables, shrimp or meat, representing balance and harmony in Chinese cuisine. Served during the festivities, the spring roll is a true symbol of tradition, sharing and luck for the whole family.
