Fire in a home in Beffe (Rendeux): the cause is accidental

Sunday morning, a chimney fire broke out in a home located at number 52 rue de l’église in Beffe in the town of Rendeux. When the firefighters arrived, the roof was engulfed in flames, the fire had developed in the rooms located under the roof.

Firefighters from Marche-en-Famenne and Erezée intervened with support from a team from Bastogne to cover the roof. A team from Ores as well as the mayor of Rendeux, Cédric Lerusse, went to the site. The cause of the fire was accidental. No injuries were reported.
