The two women, who were covering the death of a teenager for BFMTV, were taken to the emergency room.

While they were producing a duplex for BFMTV from Évreux, a team of journalists was attacked this Saturday, January 11. They covered the death of a 14-year-old boy, killed by a 16-year-old. Injured, the two women were taken to the emergency room. According to the channel, the attack took place around noon, after a duplex. “The management of BFMTV would first of all like to express its support for its journalists targeted by an intolerable act and denounces in the greatest firmness this unacceptable violence”said a press release.

“The RMC BFM group will take appropriate legal action and provide unwavering support to its teams”assures the group, which insists that “these acts will not hinder the freedom to inform of our journalists who will continue to carry out their missions”.

“This attack in the context of their work as reporters is unbearable”also reacted the Society of Journalists (SDJ) of BFMTV on the social network
