Reinforced security around the Stadium for the TFC- match

Under close surveillance. This Sunday, January 12, 2025, Club will host RC Alsace at the Toulouse Stadium. Due to the classification of this “risky match” by the National Division for the Fight against Hooliganism (DNLH), reinforced security measures have been put in placeand others will be taken in particular on “the supervision of supporters by internal security forces”.

Restrictions and security measures applied

As indicated in a press release from the prefect of Haute-Garonne, the following measures will be implemented:

  • Activation of the security PC of the Stadium in the presence of security and emergency services.
  • Provision of a crisis room by Toulouse Métropole in the event of a major incident.
  • Implementation of anti-intrusion and anti-projection devices on the ground by the TFC.
  • Supervision of the travel of RC Strasbourg Alsace supporters: Access to the Toulouse Stadium is authorized for RC Strasbourg Alsace supporters with tickets issued through the RC Strasbourg Alsace club.
  • The travel ban in the city of Toulouse: apart from the previous supervision conditions set for supporters of RC Strasbourg Alsace, it is prohibited, from Sunday January 12, 2025 at 8 a.m. to Monday January 13, 2025 at midnightto any person claiming the status of supporter of the RCSA or behaving as such, to travel or park on the public highway within a perimeter delimited by the following roads, these not being included (prefectural decree in date of January 7, 2025): Boulingrin roundabout, Allée Jules Guesdes, Allée Paul Feuga, Boulevard du Maréchal Juin, Avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Poudrerie footbridge, Ramier island, rue de la digue, avenue de , place du Fer à Cheval, Allées Charles de Fitte, Pont des Catalans, avenue Paul Séjourné, boulevard Lascrosse, boulevard d’Arcole, boulevard from Strasbourg, rue Matabiau, avenue de , rue Arago, rue des Champs-Élysées, boulevard Marengo, allées Jean-Jaurès, boulevard Lazare-Carnot, Allée Forain François-Verdier, Boulingrin roundabout.

Finally, the Pierre de Coubertin bridge will, for its part, “completely closed to traffic 2h30 before the start of the match”. It will reopen at the kick-off of the match, but will close again 15 minutes before the end. This, in order to “allow the evacuation of the public, in accordance with the directives of the security forces”, specifies the prefectural press release.
